To the editor:

In reference to the article concerning the Pine Island Cove’s “FunFest” donation to the Pine Island Elementary School’s Needy Children Fund. We were remiss in that we did not identify those businesses’ which contributed to the fest.

The residents of Pine Island Cove would like to thank the following merchants for their generous donations, Alden Pines Country Club, Beef O’ Bradys, Cap’t Cons, Little Lilly’s, Miceli’s, Pine Island Pest Control, The Sun Trust Bank, T-Nails, Winn-Dixie, Bob Evans, Pine Island Feed and Garden, Dairy Queen, and Debbie “G” of Century 21 Real Estate.
