Buy now for spring and summer family outings during the Kiwanis Tupperware Party to be held on Saturday, March 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Fishers of Men Lutheran Church. Water-tight containers for fishing gear, family photos, food and spices, as well as bowls of ever size and shape will be offered for sale to those attending the party. Each container is dishwash and microwave safe and the seals provide air-tight storage.

“This is a new fund raiser we have added and we are anticipating that it will be a successful one,” said Kiwanis president, Carlyn Herring. “Our fund raisers generate money we inturn put back into the community by way of scholarships for college bound island students and supporting numerous projects and organizations that benefit Pine Island and Matlacha.”

Proceeds from this event will be donated to the Kiwanis Club of Greater Pine Island for island scholarships and other island community charities.
