Impaired drivers are a very real danger to themselves and, of course, any motorist who is sharing the road at the same time. With this in mind, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office launched a multi-faceted campaign of education, awareness and enforcement to battle this threat to our community. We have elected to publicize the names of those charged by deputies with the offense of DUI during the past week:

On March 8, 2010, at approximately 01:37 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Edward Frank Cassavell, D.O.B. 11/30/70 of 5720 NW 54th Terrace, Gainesville, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of SR 45/Constitution Blvd, Fort Myers, Florida.

On March 8, 2010, at approximately 03:10 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Jeffrey Ryan Hoenie, D.O.B. 07/04/88 of 11525 McKenna Ave, Bonita Springs, for DUI. The incident occurred in the area of Sanibel Blvd/S. Tamiami Trail, Estero, Florida.
