To the editor:

On behalf of Pine Island United Methodist Church, I would like to take this opportunity to express our joyful gratitude to all those businesses and civic organizations that have already helped to make the weekend backpack program at Pine Island Elementary a resounding success.

It is impossible to put into words the joy we have in serving together, but we would like to say thank you very much to Pine Island Moose, Pine Island Masons, Stearns Custom Builders, Southern Tradition Bushhog and Mowing, and the Bobby Halloway Foundation, which was our first civic organization sponsor.

We are truly grateful for such a generous community, and pray God’s richest blessings for all of our faithful partners in this endeavor. Thank you so very much!
