Attempted abduction

On Thursday, March 04, 2010 at 10:11 a.m. the Lee County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call in reference to an attempted abduction that had just occurred.

During the course of the investigation, deputies learned the 43 year old victim had been walking her dog in the area of Winkler Road and Edgemere Drive in Fort Myers when an unknown Hispanic male grabbed her by her waist and attempted to pull her towards him. The victim was able to fight off her attacker and observed him flee the area in a white Suzuki.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, early 40’s, 5’08” 165 lbs, hair was just growing in, white t-shirt, blue jeans.

Vehicle is described as a white Suzuki Sidekick late 80’s-early 90’s model with a black cover on spare tire on rear and faded paint on driver’s side door.
