Memorial for Roy Kristoff

There will be a memorial service for Roy “McGyver” Kristoff, who passed away on Jan. 27, 2010. The service will be held on Saturday, March 6, at 11 a.m., at the VFW on Stringfellow Road.

As many Pine Islanders know, Roy was known as “McGyver” for his ability to fix, repair or make anything in his workshop. Moving here from Oregon, Ohio, Roy had been a Pine Islander since 2003.
