The illegal sale, use and distribution of narcotics is recognized as a violent crimes, burglaries and thefts which can dramatically affect the quality of life in our community. Therefore, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office is making every effort to take drugs off the street by targeting individuals who are active participants in this unsavory underworld. This is being accomplished through aggressive patrol, undercover operations and interagency investigations with local, state and federal drug enforcement agencies.

In the past two weeks the Lee County Sheriff’s Office made a total of 21 drug arrests. To educate and enhance awareness of the Sheriff’s Office daily activities in this endeavor the following arrests are being listed:

On Feb. 9, 2010, at approximately 03:07 p.m., Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Cynthia Winkelman, D.O.B. 03/22/62, of 385 E Buell Drive,

Fort Myers, on felony drug charges for Possession of Controlled Substance

Dr., Fort Myers.

On Feb. 9, 2010, at approximately 11:43 p.m., Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Daniel Fernando Romero, D.O.B. 07/12/90, of 10287

Carolina Street, Bonita Springs, on felony drug charges for Possession of

Cocaine. The incident occurred in the area of 27080 Old 41, Bonita Springs.

Deputies arrested David Tyler Kalbfeld, D.O.B. 07/28/81, of 1739 Winkler

Ave., Fort Myers, on felony drug charges for Possession of Controlled

Substance without a Prescription, Possession of Marijuana. The incident

occurred in the area of US 41 / Heritage Lakes Blvd., Fort Myers.

On Feb. 11, 2010, at approximately 09:04 p.m., Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Norman Patterson III, D.O.B. 11/06/74, of 1638 Heiman Ave, Fort Myers, on felony drug charges for Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Sell/Deliver. The incident occurred in the area of Ortiz Ave. / Tice St., Fort Myers.

On Feb. 12, 2010, at approximately 02:49 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Gerald Ward, D.O.B. 02/23/62, of 860 Elkhorn Ct, Marco

Island, on felony drug charges for Possession of Cocaine. The incident

occurred in the area of 14010 N. Cleveland Ave., North Fort Myers.

On Feb. 12, 2010, at approximately 05:29 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Mark Stephen Gizewski, D.O.B. 07/31/62, of 9701 Orange

River Blvd, Fort Myers, on misdemeanor drug charges for Possession of

Marijuana. The incident occurred in the area of 2115 Dr. Martin Luther King

Jr. Blvd., Fort Myers.

On Feb. 12, 2010, at approximately 01:20 p.m., Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Lionel Richie Davis, D.O.B. 12/02/84, of 1100 Wellington

Ave, Lehigh Acres, on misdemeanor drug charges for Possession of

Marijuana. The incident occurred in the area of E. 10th Street / Sheldon Ave., Lehigh Acres.

Deputies arrested Ernie Alexander Bonelli Jr., D.O.B. 09/21/77, of 3051

Deputies arrested Mary Angeline Gizewski, D.O.B. 12/08/62, of 9701 Orange

Marijuana. The incident occurred in the area of 8951 Bonita Beach Rd.,

Bonita Springs.
