On March 13, from 2 to 8 p.m. for laughter, fun, food, prizes and music you will want to be at the Pine Island VFW on Stringfellow Road. Come and participate in the second annual M*A*S*H* Bash to have a time of your life while helping us have another very successful fund raiser.

Using the theme of the long-running TV program, M*A*S*H* you can participate in events such as Radar’s Balloons, Hot Lips Kisses, Colonel Potter’s Horse Race, to win prizes or just sit back and watch the fun.

Look for the announcement to sign up for M*A*S*H* Bash Olympics and be prepared to see how you do with cane golf, mine marble race, crutch races and MASH trivia. The winner will have leave with their own Olympic medal.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the National Military Service Department. This program works to give service member and their families the help they need before, during and after deployment. There are tree main efforts; the Military Assistance Program, Operation Uplink, and Unmet Needs. Each program provides its own focus of support for military service members and their families.

So come wearing your camouflage best and help the Women’s Auxiliary to help our veterans.
