Sanborn, Baker to address Cape Civic Association
The Cape Coral Civic Association will hold its regular general monthly meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 20, in the Cape Coral Yacht Club main ballroom from 7 to 9 p.m.
The first guest speaker for the evening will be Paul Sanborn, a long-time Cape resident who is also the president of the Historical Museum Society of Cape Coral. He will provide a presentation on the early beginnings of the community before it became a city.
The second speaker will be Doug Baker, the supervisor of energy management for the Lee County Electric Cooperative. He will provide information on how LCEC’s Energy Advisors conduct personalized energy surveys of individual homes and businesses.
All citizens are encouraged to come and get involved with the Civic Association, Cape Coral’s oldest civic group. Member-ship is only $20 per year per family.
