To the editor:

Well! We finally got the annual Junior Olympics done. Due to the rain that date had to be moved. Next year we will set a rain date early! Our participant count was lower than usual this year due to holidays and the date change. However, the students and families that attended had a great time.

Once again we would like to thank our continued supporters each and every year. Team Shevlin.com, SunTrust Bank, Pine Island Dairy Queen, Waggoner and Bruehl, Kiwanis Club of Treater Pine Island and Lee County Parks and Recreation. A big thank you to all the volunteers that helped and cooked the hot dogs.
