To the Editor:

I would like to thank everyone who volunteered at the H1N1 flu vaccination clinic held Monday, Dec. 14, at the Fishers of Men Lutheran Church. I merely went for a flu shot, but was overwhelmed by the organization of the program. When I start to think about how government can’t get anything right, I’ll remember how smoothly this event was handled. Much of the credit goes to our fellow Pine Islanders who are always ready to help their neighbors.
