Motorists in the Gator Circle area will find a slightly altered traffic pattern on Thursday as this northeast section of the city hosts the Bicycling Road Course for the State of Florida Senior Games. Crews will begin reconfiguring the traffic pattern around Gator Circle starting at 5 a.m., and the actual road course should be in place by 8 a.m. The race begins at 9 a.m.
Drivers will continue to have ingress and egress from the Gator Circle area; however, there will be some temporary inconvenience as vehicles will directed to alternate routes. The city appreciates the patience of the residents in the area, officials said.
Traffic should return to normal by 5 p.m.
