Doris C. “Relyea” Ranly

Doris C. “Relyea” Ranly, 86, returned to her heavenly Father, whom she loved, on Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2009, in the presence of her family.

Preceded in death by her husband, Stewart. Relyea, and parents Joseph and Mary Molley. She is survived by husband, David Ranly; only child daughter, Elaine (Jesse) Oddi; grandchildren Joseph (Shannon), Jennifer and Jesse Oddi III; great-grandchildren McKennah, Dominic, Vincent, Ethan and Braedan Oddi; step-children virginia (David) Schlueter, Ann and Susan Ranly Widdig, step-grandchildren Flori and J.J. Doris.

Doris was Contract Manager with Gooding Amusement Company for more than 35 years. Upon retirement, she lived on Pine Island for 25 years. She was very active at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Catholic Church and was also a member of the 3rd Order Franciscans, to which she was very devoted.

Doris was also involved in the R.C.I.A. as well as the Moose Lodge. Upon her return to Columbus, Doris became a member of St. Matthew the Apostle Catholic Church and was an active member of the Charismatic Group and Daily Rosary.

Family received friends at the Maeder-Quint-Tiberi Funeral Home where the Rosary was prayed Mass of Christian Burial took place at Matthew the Apostle Catholic Church.
