To the Editor:

I came to Matlacha from Winter Park, Fla., with friends in tow because I bragged to them how cool the stores were and there was going to be this Creative Coast weekend. They were going to do some Christmas shopping but there were no galleries open but two, Island Visions and Matlacha Menagerie & Cafe. Very disappointed, I went on to Fort Myers. Sorry I could not bring my business to Matlacha.
