The Ladies of the Elks enjoyed a fashion show featuring items from Anthony’s of Fort Myers.

The Ladies of the Elks kicked off the season with flair last week when they presented their first fund-raiser of the 2009-10 season. Island models showed off the latest fall fashions from Anthony’s of Fort Myers to a full house at the Elks Lodge.

All proceeds from this and other upcoming events hosted by the Ladies of the Elks will go directly to island charities with an emphasis on the island children. The next fund-raising event will be in the form of a Card Party and Luncheon scheduled to take place on Thursday, Dec. 3. This event will be open to the public and tickets at a cost of $10 can be purchased by contacting Joan McCaffery at 283-5379, Judy Hage at 283-8627 or Jean Richards at 283-1022.
