The Lee County Board of Commissioners appointed a new chairman and vice chairman during their Tuesday meeting to reorganize the officers of the board, which is done annually on the third Tuesday of every November.
Chairman Ray Judah nominated Commissioner Tammy Hall as the new chair, which passed 4-1 with Commissioner Frank Mann dissenting.
“Thank you all for the vote of confidence,” Hall said after she traded seats with Judah during the meeting to presume the seat of the chairman.
Commissioner Bob Janes was nominated as the new vice chairman, replacing Tammy Hall. The nomination passed 4-1 with Commissioner Brian Bigelow dissenting.
