Officers responding to a 9-1-1 hang-up call confiscated nearly nine pounds of marijuana after they saw the contraband being dropped out a window.
Officers responding to the Westchase Apartments at 3770 Metro Parkway at 12:30 a.m. were flagged down by the caller who led them to the wrong apartment in reference to a disturbance. As officers attempted to contact the people inside apartment #425, they heard commotion coming from the second-story back window.
Officers saw three nylon drawstring bags being tossed out the window. The bags contained a total of 8.8 pounds of marijuana packaged for sale in 35 smaller baggies containing 4 ounces each. Police arrested three people:
* Georg Tonge (d.o.b. 12-23-87 of 4224 Michigan Avenue) was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to sell.
* Everald White (d.o.b. 11-15-85 of 703 N. Richmond Avenue, Lehigh) was charged with of marijuana with intent to sell.
* Raesha Jones (d.o.b. 3-31-86 of 3770 Metro Parkway #425) was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to sell.
