Chamber hosting ‘Business Showcase’ plus Gold Exchange
See what your Pine Island businesses are offering! Come to a free expo of Pine Island businesses and services at Fishers of Men Lutheran Church, located at 10360 Stringfellow Road, on Saturday, Nov. 7, between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
Members of the Greater Pine Island Chamber of Commerce are excited to share with the island residents what they have to offer, and what is new on the island.
Stop by to pick up brochures, menus, coupons, door prizes, as well as the opportunity to purchase gift items from several of the participating businesses. We will also be serving complimentary hot dogs and soft drinks starting at 11 a.m.
In addition to the Business Showcase, Noble Jewelers will be on site to purchase your gold/silver items that you no longer want/need/use. Bring in any broken, mangled, unwanted, tangled gold or silver jewelry and earn extra cash.
Items such as necklaces, earrings, bracelets, rings, dental gold, out-dated styles, silver plates, silverware, etc, and go home with a check in your pocket. With gold and silver prices at an all-time high, now is the time to sell them at an excellent exchange rate. Payment is on the spot to each customer via check, with a percentage of total sales going back to the Chamber’s Welcome Center operations. For our returning snowbirds, this is an excellent time to exchange your gold and silver –and it is just in time for your holiday shopping.
The first “Gold Exchange” was very successful for Pine Island Kiwanis, and we anticipate the Exchange on Nov. 7 to be just as successful if not more so.
Many business members of the Chamber have already signed up to participate in this event — space is still available.
For more information, or to sign up for a table, call Lisa Benton at the Chamber Welcome Center, 283-4842.
This is just one of the several ways the Chamber is promoting our island during our Winter Promotional Campaign.
