Carroll (Bob) Pike

Carroll (Bob) Pike was born in Wisconsin on Nov. 3, 1925. He died at the Cape Coral Hospice House Friday, Oct. 23, 2009.

Bob and Beverly (Karstaedt) were married in Beloit, Wis., Sept. 11, 1948, at the First Presbyterian Church and had 62 wonderful years together. They had two sons, David Arthur and Douglas Karstaedt.

They enjoyed 20 some years on Pine Island, returning to their lake in Wisconsin for summer months. He enjoyed fishing, golfing regularly at Alden Pines and at Cold Water Canyon in the summer at the Dells.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly; son, Douglas; two granddaughters, Hannah and Natalie of Minneapolis; and his sister, Joan Hollenbeck of Pharr, Texas. Their son, David is deceased.

A memorial service will be Nov. 9, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. at the Fishers of Men Lutheran Church on Stringfellow.
