Response to Barry August
To the Editor:
In response to Capt. Barry August’s letter in the Oct. 14 issue: Barney Frank has admonished his supporters to put pressure on representatives, not the lawn. This is good advice. Pressure is best applied in person. Hand-written letters not only support the USPS, but are more effective than e-mail. Visiting the office of the representative, even more. They work for us, not the lobbyist with the graft. I am sure they will be glad to see a steady stream of smiling faces.
