Dorothy Vyrle Goodwin

Dorothy Vyrle Goodwin of Eustis, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend, went to be with her Lord on Oct. 13, 2009. She was born in Arcadia, Fla., on March 5, 1921. She was mother to Barbara J. Ellis (deceased), Jacqueline, Nona (deceased), Jesse, Brian and Larry. She also leaves behind 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and many friends.

She was very active in the garden clubs, the Federated Garden Club and the Horticulture Exhibit at the Lake County Fair. She was a member of Bay Street Baptist Church in Eustis, and St. James City Baptist Church in St. James City, Fla.

She was loved by many and will very much missed by her family and friends alike.

The viewing was held Saturday, Oct. 17, at Bay Street Baptist Church, Eustis, from noon to 2 p.m. with services at 2 p.m.
