Temporary nighttime road closure scheduled for Del Prado Boulevard and Diplomat Parkway
Starting at approximately 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6, to 5 a.m. and Wednesday, Oct. 7 from 6 p.m. to 5 a.m., motorists should be on alert for temporary nighttime lane and intersection closure of Del Prado Boulevard and Diplomat Parkway. Motorists traveling on Del Prado Boulevard wanting to access either eastbound or westbound Diplomat Parkway will be routed through the posted detour. Northbound and southbound motorists traveling on Del Prado Boulevard should expect delays while traveling through this area. Advance warning signs, electronic message boards and barricades will be used to assist motorists traveling through the area.
Detour: Motorist traveling on Del Prado Boulevard wanting to access eastbound Diplomat Parkway will travel east N.E. 14th Street, north on N.E. 19th Avenue and east on Diplomat Parkway. Motorist traveling on Del Prado Boulevard wanting to access westbound Diplomat Parkway will travel west N.E. 14th Street, north on N.E. 14th Avenue, west on N.E. 15th Terrace, north on NE 13th Place, west on N.E. 15th Lane and west onto Diplomat Parkway.
While traveling through the work zone, motorists are urged to use caution, obey the posted speed limit of 35 mph, and seek alternate routes whenever possible. Please be advised that unforeseen circumstances such as weather may affect the schedule.
