SweetBay Supermarket has leased 36,320 square feet of retail space in The Shops at Cape Coral Plaza at 1004-1016 Cape Coral Parkway from The Shops at Cape Coral Parkway, LLC.
The site previously was anchored by Publix.
The Plaza consists of 79,766 square feet and the center is on 7.55 acres.
Sweetbay Supermarket opened its first store in Largo, Fla. in November 2004. Today there are 102 stores as far south as Naples and north to Gainesville.
