The Chiquita boat Lock will be closed to all boat traffic on Tuesday, Oct. 6 from 9 a.m. until noon for scheduled maintenance. The city will have a diver in the water to inspect the structure and make any necessary adjustments or repairs.
The city conducts regularly scheduled maintenance on the Chiquita Lock to ensure continued operation of the facility. The Chiquita Lock is located in the Southwest Spreader at the south end of Chiquita Boulevard near Cape Harbour.
