Narcotics arrest update

The illegal sale, use and distribution of narcotics is recognized as a significant contributor to violent crimes, burglaries and thefts which can dramatically affect the quality of life in our community. Therefore, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office is making every effort to take drugs off the street by targeting individuals who are active participants in this unsavory underworld. This is being accomplished through aggressive patrol, undercover operations and interagency investigations with local, state and federal drug enforcement agencies.

In the past week the Lee County Sheriff’s Office made a total of 16 drug arrests. To educate and enhance awareness of the Sheriff’s Office daily activities in this endeavor the following arrests are being listed:

On Sept. 14, 2009, at approximately 08:50 p.m., Lee County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Thiago Alves Souza, D.O.B. 10/28/89, of 5017 Bauer

Street, Lehigh Acres, on misdemeanor drug charges for Possession of

Marijuana. The incident occurred in the area of 55 Homestead Road, Lehigh

Acres.

* On Sept. 15, 2009, at approximately 03:05 p.m., Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Kathleen Schroeder, D.O.B. 09/27/66, of 5558 10th Ave,

Fort Myers, on felony drug charges for Possession of Cocaine. The incident

occurred in the area of Oak St. / 9th Ave, Fort Myers.

* On Sept. 15, 2009, at approximately 05:20 p.m., Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Damon Nathaniel Evans, D.O.B. 07/31/83, of 12361 4th

Street, Fort Myers, on misdemeanor drug charges for Possession of

Marijuana. The incident occurred in the area of 61st Street W / Queens Ave.

N, Lehigh Acres.

* On Sept. 16, 2009, at approximately 03:24 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Delbert Michael Bigler, D.O.B. 04/05/56, of 2657 8th Ave,

St. James City, on misdemeanor drug charges for Possession of Marijauna.

The incident occurred in the area of 719 San Carlos Dr., Fort Myers.

* On Sept. 16, 2009, at approximately 07:04 p.m., Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Darlene Margaret McKay, D.O.B. 05/14/82, of 4574

Berkshire Rd., St. James City, on felony drug charges for Possession of

Controlled Substance without a Prescription, Possession of Marijuana. The

incident occurred in the area of Pine Island Rd. / Chiquita Blvd., Cape Coral.

* On Sept. 17, 2009, at approximately 02:44 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Christopher Lovett White, D.O.B. 07/16/82, of 1412 NE 18th Place, Cape Coral, on felony drug charges for Possession of Cocaine. The incident occurred in the area of Pondella Road / N. Tamiami Trail, North Fort Myers.

* On Sept. 17, 2009, at approximately 02:51 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested John Anthony Reilly, D.O.B. 05/30/84, of 13971 Wind Ct., Fort Myers, on felony drug charges for Possession of Cocaine. The

incident occurred in the area of Pondella Road / N. Tamiami Trail, North Fort

Myers.

* On Sept. 17, 2009, at approximately 04:42 p.m., Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested James Jerome Johnson, D.O.B. 06/21/63, of 18619 Bartow Blvd., Fort Myers, on felony drug charges for Possession of

Marijuana, Marijuana Producing Schedule 1. The incident occurred in the area of 18619 Bartow Blvd., Fort Myers.

* On Sept. 17, 2009, at approximately 11:17 p.m., Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Michael Joseph Rocco, D.O.B. 06/12/84, of 818 Shadyside

Street, Lehigh Acres, on felony drug charges for Possession of Controlled

Substance without a Prescription, Possession of Marijuana. The incident

occurred in the area of Meadow Road / Haviland Ave., Lehigh Acres.

* On Sept. 18, 2009, at approximately 06:24 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Tyler Nicholas Tarvin, D.O.B. 06/21/91, of 17566 Johnstone Ct., Fort Myers, on felony drug charges for Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Sell/Deliver. The incident occurred in the area of Bonita Beach Road / Okeana Street, Bonita Springs.

* On Sept. 18, 2009, at approximately 09:29 p.m., Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Robert Dean Lewis, D.O.B. 02/21/57, of 2848 Thompson

Hill Rd., on misdemeanor drug charges for Possession of Marijuana. The incident occurred in the area of Ave E / Estero Blvd., Fort Myers Beach.

* On Sept. 19, 2009, at approximately 12:37 p.m., Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Jerman Lamar Arnold, D.O.B. 01/12/79, of 1925 Henderson Ave, Fort Myers, on felony drug charges for Possession of Cocaine. The incident occurred in the area of Michigan Ave / Michigan Link, Fort Myers.

* On Sept. 19, 2009, at approximately 06:11 p.m., Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Curtis Henderson Jr., D.O.B. 04/07/90, of 312 N. Cleveland Ave, Fort Myers, on misdemeanor drug charges for Possession of Marijuana.

The incident occurred in the area of 1816 Reid Street, Lehigh Acres.

Deputies arrested Luis Cruz, D.O.B. 12/30/89, of Edisto Lakes Apt., Fort

Myers, on felony drug charges for Possession of Cocaine. The incident occurred in the area of 15271 McGregor Blvd., Fort Myers.

* On Sept. 20, 2009, at approximately 06:19 a.m., Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Saul Morado, D.O.B. 09/12/89, of 7470 Gary Road, Fort

Myers, on misdemeanor drug charges for Possession of Marijuana. The

incident occurred in the area of Rosemary Dr. / Bridgeport Lane., Bonita

Springs.

* On Sept. 20, 2009, at approximately 04:02 p.m., Lee County Sheriff’s

Deputies arrested Richard Allen Goode, D.O.B. 08/07/74, of 11751 Iona Rd.,

Fort Myers, on felony drug charges for Possession of Controlled Substance

without a Prescription, Possession of Marijuana. The incident occurred in the

area of Maple Dr. / 7th Ave, Fort Myers.
