Mary Ann Grouser

Mary Ann Grouser passed away Thursday, Aug. 27, 2009, in Cape Coral Hospital. She was born and raised in East Millstone, N.J., and lived there most of her life before moving to Bokeelia a few years ago. She worked for Mack Truck in Bridgewater, N.J., for over 30 years as an expediter. She was a former member of St. Joseph’s Church in East Millestone.

A founding member of the Alden Pines Country Club Golf Course in Bokeelia and a member of the Cape Coral Country Club, she was an avid golfer who played daily. She was also a member of a bridge club.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry James Grouser.

Surviving are her daughter, Barbara Rosenweig; her granddaughter, Michele Rosenweig; her cousin, Mary Hoerler; and her loyal companion, Edward Snyder.

Visiting for family and friends was held at Hillsborough Funeral Home and a private graveside service was held Tuesday, Sept. 1, in the Cedar Hill Cemetery in East Millestone for immediate family and friends.
