DEP to distribute free conservation kits at the Fresh Market in Fort Myers
On Wednesday, a representative from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) will distribute free conservation kits and answer green cleaning and conservation questions at The Fresh Market in Fort Myers from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. as part of DEP’s recognition of National Pollution Prevention Week, Sept. 21-27.
DEP will distribute the free conservation kits at participating Vitamin Shoppe and Fresh Market stores throughout the state (while supplies last). The kits are filled with earth friendly products including two compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFL), two low-flow sink aerators, two microfiber cloths, a conservation information sheet and a green cleaning recipe card.
