Shrimp creole

Ingredients:

1/2 c. chopped onion n 1/2 c. sliced celery

1/2 c. chopped green pepper n 1 clove garlic, chopped

1/4 c. vegetable oil n 2 (8 oz) cans tomato sauce

1 tsp. salt n 1/8 tsp. pepper

1 lb. cooked shrimp n 4 c. cooked rice

How to:

Saute the onion, celery, green pepper and garlic in oil in a large sauce pan until golden.

Add the tomato sauce and seasonings.

Bring to a boil, then simmer for 15 minutes.

Add the shrimp and heat thoroughly, stirring frequently.

Serve over hot cooked rice.
