Getting to know your local bartender: RV Vahanian
Some may call them barkeep or tapster, but regardless of the label you give them, our local bartenders are some of the most interesting people on the island. Each brings with them a special flare to their jobs and Ron Vahanian, also known to his regular customers as RV, is no exception.
Living in Cape Coral, RV has a daughter, Alex, 14, and said he enjoys serving and drinking spirits. He strives to bring a light, entertaining quality to the bar at the Sandy Hook.
“It has become mandatory that we watch ‘Cash Cab’ whenever it’s on because it gets everyone involved,” he said.
RV also shared his feelings about his employers.
“I really like working for Rich and Bev Lauber, but the real bonus is getting to work with Nicole Lauber.”
This week, get to know more about RV by reading his answers to the Eagle bartender questionaire.
