Joan Rita Lella
Joan Rita Lella, 72, of Bokeelia, died Wednesday, July 1, 2009 surrounded by those she loved. She was born on Dec. 25, 1936 to her devoted parents Arlene Apgar and Vincent De Stefano in Somerville, NJ. She was preceded by her loving husband, Anthony, in 1986.
For 25 years, Joan was employed as a quality control inspector for Johnson and Johnson in New Brunswick, NJ. More recently, Joan ran her own produce stand that she set up at Pine Island Center. Joan was a wonderful human being and a devoted wife, sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a kind and caring person and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Joan is survived by her three devoted children, Theresa (Louis) Kraska of NJ; Denise (Tony) Tomilinson of NJ; JodiAnn (David) Maxiarczyk of Cape Coral. Five grandchildren, Todd (Gina) Kraska; Melissa Barney and fiance, Libby Hambauer; Crystal (Jeff) Hemenway; Colt Tomlinson and Tony Tomlinson. Two great-grandchildren, Zachary and Emily Kraska and her devoted dog who she love so dearly, Tigger.
