Celebrating 63 years together

Nelson and Beverly Smead of Matlacha Isles, celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary at the home of their daughter in Port Charlotte.

Married on May 5, 1946, in Ostemo, Mich., the couple moved to Florida in 1976.

Present were John and Marie Leiss, their children; Luke, Ron, Hope and Destiny and friends of the family, Darryl and Rosmarie Garett.
