Pine Island Art Association awards Mini-Grants 200
The PIAA (Pine Island Art Association) has awarded three mini-grants to local art teachers for use during the 2009-10 school year.
The grants were awarded to individual art teachers for improvement or revitalization of their current instructional art programs. The money is intended for the purchase of supplies or equipment in the classrooms.
The recipients of the mini-grants were Ann Cooper (Ida Baker High School), Judith Wolff (Mariner Middle School) and Joy Williams (Diplomat Middle School).
