Response to Dawn Shevlin

To the Editor:

With the housing market so cheap in town, is there no place in town with shopping centers, restaurants, jobs close by, stop lights, cookie cutter shops (we all know too well) that you can’t find a place to live? By the way, I was in my 30s when I moved here for the virtues of this island that you will never see or appreciate. But most islanders get it. What makes this island so great is the 17 miles away you are still my neighbor because we have one market place. Dawn, a bit of advice, please stay away from real estate around the airport if you hate jet noise.
