Actions do speak louder than words

To the editor:

What’s wrong with the churches of the nation? The kids are going down the tubes, crime is on the rise and all the churches do is preach and pass the bucket. The old adage, action speaks louder then words is still true today as well as the pen is mightier than the sword. Most people would go out of their way to vote for a crooked politician, but won’t take the time to write a petition to the FCC about the trash on TV and the Internet, which creates more casualties then all the wars combined.

Drugs are rampant and nothing is done by the government. A simple solution would be the death penalty for dealers, growers, murderers, kidnappers, rapist and terrorists. I don’t mean dying of old age in jail, I mean zap, over and done with.

You have choices, either put pressure on the FCC and government or wait for the phone call to go see your kid or grandkid laying on a slab at the morgue or the hospital I.C.U. for an overdose of drugs or perhaps treated for a social disease and of course there’s always that unwanted baby for your kids or grandkid.

Right now the Mob, Hollywood and Columbia are our worst enemies. The government with their revolving door policy with drugs isn’t helping either. Turn on the TV and you see laws broken every hour. Contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and adults, corruption the morals of a minor and adults, indecent behavior or exposure, profanity, disrespect and on and on.

The churches have the power to change all this with their numbers, but they don’t lift a finger. It’ll take many years to get things back to normal, but you have to start somewhere. Start the petitions going.

You would think the government would protect us from all this, but as we’ve seen, they don’t have too many morals. So, some church get this ball rolling. The FCC director said he would act on all complaints so what are you waiting for?

To all you atheist and evolution believers, you better get on your hands and knees and thank somebody for the religions of the world. Without their teachings and beliefs, you might have been dead along time ago. It would be like the wild west without God-fearing people. so in reality you should be pro-religion to insure your existence.

I don’t want any responses, pro or con, I’d just like to see the churches take action.
