Pine Island KOA recently received two awards, the 2020 KOA Founder's Award and the President's Award, for its high quality camping facilities, as well as exceeding its guests expectations.

"It's exciting to win these KOA awards. We are humbled by the positive experiences expressed by the reviews we received from our guests and proud because that is what we set out to do, day in and day out at Pine Island," Pine Island KOA Manager Gwenn West said.

The Pine Island KOA regional manager echoed similar thoughts.

"We strive to deliver the best campground hospitality at Pine Island and are delighted to have Pine Island recognized with the KOA President and Founder's Awards," Regional Manager of Pine Island KOA Natalie Philabaum said. "These awards really honor the tremendous hard work of the Pine Island staff and management team who are dedicated to providing superior customer service and ensuring a memorable camping experience for our guests."

Each year surveys are gathered from more than a quarter million guests who stay at Kampgrounds of America following their stays. The guests' feedback, as well as results from an annual inspection, qualifies more than 500 KOA campgrounds across the United States and Canada for the Founder's Award and the President's Award.

The KOA President's Award is awarded to KOA campgrounds that provide great camping facilities and high levels of guests services. The KOA Founder's Award is given to the campground that shares Kampgrounds of America Founder Dave Drum vision of a "KOA Nation providing excellence for generations of campers."
