Cape Coral residents looking to fast track their 4th of July holiday can find just the ticket in South Cape Hospitality & Entertainment Association's sixth annual Red, White & Brew trolley pub crawl.

On Saturday, June 30, beer lovers can climb aboard one of six exclusive patriotic convoys that will circulate between 12 Cape Coral establishments for an American beer and appetizer sample.

SCHEA Director Karmen Forrester expects a sell out and is encouraged by the rising interest in Cape events.

"The future of the event will only grow over time, we up-it every year and love to see people enjoy our events," she said.

Boarding time begins at 7 p.m. and will continue to roll along until 11.

The event helps promote businesses that may be affected by construction, along with helping people learn how to navigate the area via the trolley.

The participating locations and their samples are as follows:

* BackStreets Sports Bar- Freedom Tower Amber Ale & boneless chicken bites.

* Big Blue Brewing- Seed Spitter (watermelon wheat beer) & grilled sliders.

* Cruisers- Shock Top & bacon barbecue beans.

* Dixie Roadhouse- Bell's Oberon Ale & American apple pie.

* Lehne Burger- Michelob & cream cheese balls.

* Monkey Bar- Coors Light & potato casserole.

* Nevermind- Key Lime Cider & grilled smoked chicken tacos.

* Rack'em Spirits & Times- Budweiser & popcorn.

* Ralph's Place- Rolling Rock & pulled pork sliders.

* Remixx Lounge- Yuengling Lager & smoked sausages.

* Rockade- Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy & pigs in a blanket.

* Tiki Hut- Woodchuck Cider & bacon mac 'n cheese bites.

Live music, dancing, deejays and even karaoke will be available at certain locations, so you can boogie all night with a trolley ride to soothe your dancing feet between stops.

"This is a great way to meet new people on a Saturday night in June," Forrester said. "This can be the slower time of year-it gets people involved in the community."

Tickets are $15 in advance and can be purchased on, day-of tickets will be $20.

Check-in will be open from 6 p.m. until 7:30 at Big John's Plaza and in front of Dixie Roadhouse, with late check-in from 7:30-10 p.m. at Dixie Roadhouse.

Tickets include a patriotic cap or bandana, a wristband to board the trolleys, a passport of locations, access to the photo booth at the lobby of the Dolphin Key Resort, eligibility to win prizes for answering trolley trivia and of course your beer and appetizer sample.

Trivia will include brain-teasers about Cape Coral and of course, the 4th of July. Prizes range from small gift cards, to koozies and T-shirts for correct answers.

Passports that are stamped at every location will be entered to win the grand prize - a cooler loaded with patriotic and summer fun goodies, featuring two bottles of Wicked Dolphin Artisan rum. Make sure to turn it in at the end of the night.

Photos taken at the booth in the Dolphin Key will also be voted upon, with the most patriotically dressed receiving four tickets to SCHEA's next trolley event.

"Dress up and get involved," said Forrester. "Costumes and decorative get-up can be a conversation starter. This is a great way to meet new people and discover new places in the Cape. Who knows? You could make a life-long friend."

A limited number of physical tickets are available for purchase at certain participating locations, designated driver tickets are $10 and only available at BackStreets Sports Bar.

This event is 21-plus and valid ID will be required.

SCHEA's next event will be "Christmas in July" on July 21.
