Alzheimer’s Association Memory Mobile coming to Pine Island

March 21, 2018
By ED FRANKS ( , Pine Island Eagle

The Alzheimer's Association of Southwest Florida Memory Mobile is coming to Centennial Bank on Pine Island Monday, April 2

Are you, or someone you know, having memory problems? It is estimated that more than 5 million people in the United States have Alzheimer's disease with approximately 550,000 in Florida and over 20,000 in Lee County.

It's hard to know the difference between age-related changes and potential signs of Alzheimer's disease therefore early diagnosis is critical. Knowing your diagnosis early helps individuals and their families to plan for the future. In addition some may benefit from medication or be able to participate in a clinical trial.
