To the editor:

The Pine Island Kiwanis Club is extremely grateful for the contributions and support from the community that made the 2nd Annual Pine Island Stylin' "Senior" Prom successful.

It is a wonderful thing when a fundraising event is also fun for all involved and the Prom was some great fun! Events like this do not happen without the help and support of LOTS of people and organizations.

Pine Island excels in supporting its local organizations and we are so grateful to be a part of this wonderful community. A list of those to thank is never complete but we are nevertheless immensely grateful to the following: Judy Hopkins and The Pine Island Elks Lodge, Mel Meo and her sister Rita, Jug Creek Seafood, C.W. Fudge Factory, Low Key Tiki, Olde Fish House Marina, Little Lilly's Deli, Island Exchange Realty, Steve Hook & Pine Island Pizza, everyone who donated items for the silent auction, all the businesses that sponsored and decorated tables, and the Coast Connection Band for the great entertainment. We couldn't do it without any of you. Thanks for making this event possible.

Gotta love Pine Island!
