Bert's Bar and Grill will host the 7th Annual Bert's Redfish Challenge charity fishing tournament to benefit Pine Island F.I.S.H. (Fellow Islanders Sending Help) on Saturday, Oct. 10. More than $28,000 has been raised by this event over the past five years.

Pine Island F.I.S.H. is a local non-profit organization that assists Pine Island residents in need with transportation, obtaining medical supplies, rent payments, utility bills, medical bills, etc. They also provide relief to non-paid primary caregivers for up to 4 hours per week and contact with homebound individuals by phone and home visits.

Pine Island F.I.S.H. is also the lead agency in the Pine Island Basket Brigade program. These programs are entirely free to those who need assistance and are solely funded by donations.
