James (Jim) Marino

James (Jim) Marino, 76, passed away on April 12th at Hope Hospice house on Diplomat Pkwy at 10:45 p.m. He was preceded in death by his mother Mattie, father James and sister Patsy. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Judith and two daughters Patricia and Elizabeth and one son Michael also by his two grandchildren Justin and Samantha. He was born in 1938 in Williamson W. Va. on Dec. 30th. His family moved to Florida in 1942. He went to Ft. Lauderdale high school and joined the Navy in 1956. He retired from Eastern Airlines in 1990. Jim was an accomplished guitarist and loved entertaining at Tarpon Lodge in Bokeelia. He also loved fishing and playing tennis and working on old car restorations. He was also an excellent cook. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the Hope Hospice house on Diplomat Pkwy in Cape Coral for their support and wonderful care in his final days. There will be a Memorial Service for Jim on Sunday April 26th at 3:00 p.m. at Grace United Methodist Church located at 13 S.E. 21st Pl., Cape Coral.
