Michael Richard Perry, 62, of St. James City, formerly of Jacksonville, Fla., passed away Sunday, April 6, 2014, in Fort Myers. He was born Dec.16, 1951, in Anderson, Ind., to Joseph Richard and Barbara Perry, now deceased.
He was a jack of all trades, a Marine, a father and he lived life to the fullest. He will be missed dearly.
He is survived by his four children, Shawn Perry of Ypsilanti, Mich., Kelly Perry of Winter Haven, Fla., Jason Perry of Ypsilanti, Mich., and Stacey Garrett (Darrell) of Ypsilanti, Mich.; six siblings, Cindy Stone (Clyde) of Jacksonville, Fla., Paula Tegeler of Orange Park, Fla., Karen Engelkens (Don) of Fulton, Ill., Sharon Tyler (Don) of Fulton, Ill., Steve Perry (Leona) of Newton, N.C., and Greg Lynas of Jacksonville, Texas; four grandchildren, Leah, Caleb, Aiden and Aubrey; numerous nieces and nephews; as well as his best friend, Ronnie Knight of St. James City.
