Neighborhood Watch meeting April 23

April 16, 2014
Pine Island Eagle

To the editor:

A meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at 6:15 p.m., at the usual place, at 5492 Thomas St.

If anyone has any concerns, please bring them to my attention as soon as possible so that I may forward any concerns to the appropriate people so that your concerns can be addressed at the meeting. This will prove to be a more informative meeting. Instead of asking questions and then having to wait for answers to be relayed back, your questions and answers can be addressed at the meeting.

For instance, we have had many "roaming dog" complaints, speeding cars on Thomas and Henley streets, to name a few. First off you must remember there are numbers to call for roaming dogs, and you can call the non-emergency number for speeding cars etc.

The object of Neighborhood Watch is to "report any suspicious" activity.

I know many of you have numerous complaints, and you can call me or drop by and I promise if I receive them in the next few days, I as stated earlier, will forward your concerns/complaints to the deputies and will have answers for you.

Please feel free to bring a snack, as usual, there are always goodies to munch on.

Lori DePalma

Neighborhood Watch, Bokeelia
