To the editor:
When you are deciding to vote for a political candidate, is trust one of the values you would like to see in a candidate? Unfortunately, most of us don't, because trust is a value most often learned about, after the candidate is elected.
From personal experience with Sen. Benacquisto and Rep. Dane Eagle regarding legislation I authored, I learned that they were; inept, unethical, unaccountable and certainly were not trustworthy, in my opinion! Don't believe it; read the Op-Ed article in the Breeze Newspaper; (Weekend Edition) dated Aug. 16, 2013, page 5A, and I can prove every word in that article! You would not have seen this article in the regional daily because they said it was too long and requested I reduce it to 600 words (which I did in one day), then for over six weeks they led me to believe they would post it but they did not.
The point of this e-mail though, is about a candidate's character, values, records of achievements, etc.
Mudslinging, inferring unproven allegations on opposing candidates, is behavior used by candidates that don't have the character, values and records of achievement that would make them qualified for a political position! Past performance, achievements, working to help people, in short; character does!
I am supporting Curt Clawson for Florida's 19th District seat in Congress because of his executive management skills, accomplishments in saving thousands of jobs and for one of his plans on "focusing government policy on economic growth," which will undoubtedly create jobs for people, something that Southwest Florida desperately needs including the USA!!
I would also ask that you support the Breeze Newspapers, again, in my opinion, the only local major print media that cares about our "liberty and other people's views," not like some newspapers who use "rhetoric" and agendas, to "hoodwink" the public!
