William Tidball, Co-Proprietor with Carlos Gomez, of the new CW Fudge Factory in Matlacha, hosted their first "Art Night" on Wednesday, March 19, 2014. The evening started off with music provided by Bob & Peg Cullen, along with a painting demonstration by local artist Anne Thomas. Over 30 guests then listened to local award-winning author JD daniels read the Prologue and various excerpts from her new publication, Through Pelican Eyes, the first Jessie Murphy Mystery, a novel set in Matlacha & Pine Island. The author personally signed her new book for the many guests in attendance. Owner, William Tidball, and his staff provided guests with beverages and tastes of his delicious store-made fudge, and offered various hand-dipped chocolates which guests described as "totally awesome."
