To the editor:
President Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and the Democrats promised reduced medical costs, reduced premiums and a savings of $2,500 a year on health care. I can't wait for my $2,500 bucks to start kicking in, incrementally, in my monthly budget. Let's see, that would be about $200 some odd bucks a month. So far I haven't seen it so I presume it will start showing up any day now. Maybe I'll get a big windfall towards the end of the year. I also expect those reduced copays, premiums and deductibles to start piling up making my household budget advantages swell with the benefits of Obamacare. Thinking about a cruise. What will you do with your $2,500 a year savings?
The last three times I went to the doctor, I waited twice the usual time to actually see the doctor. Oh, I mean the PA. I love meeting new medical providers each time I see what used to be my regular doctor. When I can't see my doctor, I love the time spent on hold listening to the music of today's generation, don't you?
Another Obamacare benefit allows more time in the waiting room to read all those magazine articles I missed last year. I fully expect to be able to pay off my car later this year, thanks to the Democrats. I'm anxiously awaiting the next great benefit from the Democrats and establishment Republicans in D.C. They really do have our best interests at heart.
