Lindy Lord-Cooper, property manager of Champion Self Storage of Cape Coral, recently presented David and Judy Souders, founders of Wounded Warrior Anglers, with a check for $540.

"Every year we have a community yard sale here on the property," Lord-Cooper said. "This year the yard sale was on Feb. 22. Anybody that has items to sell we offer a 10 x 10-foot spot for $15 and all of that $15 is donated to a local organization. This year the organization we chose is Wounded Warrior Anglers."

Wounded Warrior Anglers of America Incorporated is a nationally chartered 501(C) (3) public charity. The organization was founded by David Souders, a wounded warrior, and Judy Souders, wife and Caregiver. The organization is dedicated to help rehabilitate the mind, body and soul of all service members who have been injured, wounded or disabled in the line of duty no matter what their era of service. Its secondary missions are to actively support the wounded warrior's caregiver and their immediate family.
