Doo Wop Party at Flamingo Bay
Flamingo Bay is having its fourth annual Doo Wop Party Saturday, Feb. 15, at the clubhouse on the corner of Curlew Drive and Stringfellow Road in St. James City.
The fun starts at 7 p.m. J.R. Bradford, on the keyboard, will sing songs from the '50s and '60s. Tickets are $8 and BYOB.

Sheriff's Office representative to address Flamingo Bay association
A representative of the Lee County Sheriff's Department, Trish Brissler, will address a meeting at the Flamingo Bay Community Thursday, Feb. 20. The meeting will be held at the Flamingo Bay Residents' Association clubhouse, 4752 Curlew Drive, and will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Topics will include Neighborhood Watch as well as other information relative to how residents can help to combat crime and vandalism in local communities.
The presentation will be followed by a question and answer session.

Bingo Friday nights
Come and join the Friday night Bingo at Flamingo Bay Estates. Doors are open at 5:30 pm. The games start at 6:30 pm.
There's always a jackpot of $100. Bring a coffee cup and food for the food pantry for extra cards.

Flamingo Bay Bus trip to Sarasota
Flamingo Bay is hosting a bus trip to Sarasota Thursday, March 6.
Goody Tours is coordinating the motor coach one-day trip.
Departure is at 8 a.m. from Flamingo Bay parking lot, off of Stringfellow Road, with visits to the Ringling Brothers Museum, lunch at Troyer's Dutch Heritage Estates, shopping at St. Armand's Circle and a tour coordinator.
The cost of this relaxing and fun-filled day of site seeing, dining and shopping is only $84.
