Nearly 100 women filled the American Legion Wednesday to see the latest fashions and do some shopping.

Auxiliary president Linda Lewis said she was excited at the turnout for the fashion show, which is one of the auxiliary's biggest fund-raisers of the year.

The clothes were provided by Boutique On Wheels. Owners Tom and Denise Kelley describe their fashion show as an "out-of-the-box" idea.

"We've probably been coming to the American Legion for at least 10 years," Tom Kelley said.

After a brief lunch, the show began with Tom Kelley as host announcing each model and describing the clothes and jewelry.

Each of five models from the Legion showcased casual, sporty and dressy clothing. Models were dressed in a complete outfit of dresses, jackets, jeans, tops, shorts and purses with accompanying accessories and jewelry of purses, necklaces and earrings.

"Everyone seems to have a good time at this event," Linda Lewis said. "The ladies love it because they can see the clothes worn before they purchase them."
