It's time for the Annual Rhythm and Rummage Sale for the Museum of the Islands. Scheduled for Feb. 8, at the St. James City Civic Association, from 8 a.m. until noon, the event is a perfect time to give and take!

Here's the give part: If you are a snowbird who has just arrived and discovered that you really no longer want the dishes (or mysteries or placemats) you purchased last year or if you are a local who just needs to clear out space for visitors this winter, bring your unwanted items to SJCCA Friday morning, Feb. 7 between 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Healthy plants may be dropped off in the new Lanai after 8 a.m. on Friday. If you cannot bring your items to SJCCA, you can drop them off at the museum Friday morning and staff will see that they get to the sale.

Here's the take part: come to the sale and take away good deals!

Two winners of the "Guess the Number of Shells Competition" will be announced. The lucky winners will receive gifts from generous local merchants. Tickets will be available for purchase at the sale.

The popular BIG breakfast will be served from 8-10:30 a.m. Island Frank will be playing his island music.
