The 41st Annual Fort Myers Boat Show at Harborside Event Center and City of Fort Myers Yacht Basin is coming Thursday, Nov. 14, through Sunday, Nov. 17, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Thursday through Saturday hours are and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
The show will feature new interactive displays for guests of all ages. In addition, the exhibit will showcase even more boats, both in and out of water, highlighting new models and innovative features.
New to the show this year, visitors will be invited to take part in hands-on displays such as the Fishin' Frank's Fishin' Simulator and the Mercury Experience Tour Truck. The Fishin' Simulator offers a true-to-life fishing experience, allowing guest to learn techniques in tangling with redfish, snook or tarpon. The Experience Tour Truck is equipped with a fully integrated joystick system and invites attendees to try their hand at gaining control of a 30 to 50-foot boat on a windy day.
Guests can also discover how easy it is to get into boating at the "You Can Afford to Go Boating" area in Centennial Park. This special section will include a display of boats that can all be purchased on a budget of $250 or less per month. Informational signs will accompany each boat allowing visitors to gather more information at their leisure.
Food and beverages will be available inside the event as well as several new downtown venues. Admission is $10 per person, per day and free for children under 16 with a paid adult admission. Tickets can be purchased at the door.
